Surgical Procedures

Ear, Nose & Throat Surgery:

  • General paediatric ENT surgery:- We provide a comprehensive diagnostic service for child patients with ENT problems such glue ear, ENT infections and recurrent tonsillitis, which can be linked with sleep apnoea.

  • General ENT surgery:- We carry out general ENT surgery to work on a broad range of issues including nocturnal airway obstruction and problems with the thyroid, which again can contribute to sleep disorders.

  • Sinus disease:- Sinus disease occurs when the lining of your sinus becomes inflamed, often leading to problems with snoring and sleep apnoea. We are able to detect sinus disease through the use of a nasal endoscopy, and will suggest the necessary treatment depending on the severity of your case.

  • Swallowing:- Many people are affected by dysphagia (swallowing problems) and we use a range of methods to treat these issues, such as therapy, dietary advice, nasogastric tubes, medication and endoscopic dilation. Endonasal dacryocystorhinostomy: We use this procedure to treat patients with a blockage in the tear ducts (which can result in recurrent infection). This operation creates a new channel for the tears to drain into.

  • Cholesteatoma surgery:- A cholesteatoma is a cyst that grows backwards behind your eardrum, into the middle ear. This can have very serious implications for your hearing which is why we provide surgery to remove the cholesteatoma, avoiding future complications.
